IFTAR RAMADHAN

Hari ni berbuka di sekolah.... nak masak hebat2 takle reti... jadi awal2 pagi trus tepon mak. Tetiba je terasa nak pulut sekaya a.k.a. seri muka atau dlm bahasa Inggeris 'radiant face'? (mcm kata TTM dlm Topturvy Mum) Hehehe... mesti marah si pencipta nama kuih ni... sesuka ati kita je nak translate... tapi kalau tak translate, omputih tak paham lak....

Ha. ni le dia salah satu kuih talam air tangan makcik Norsiah. Jgn mintak resepi yek sbb aku ni pandai order... buat belum penah. Korang tunggu le aku sampai seru... Aku bukan apa, kalau aku masak kang sedap sgt.... payah.... hik.. hik.. hik...

Lepas keja, aku balik.... tunggu smpai semua dah ada (My Cik Abe (MCA) & anak2 tersayang).. baru le bertolak. Lepas pukul 6pm, on the way, sempat singgah ambik 3 dulang pulut sekaya. Smpai je sekolah, MCA & my boys trus ke surau sbb ada tahlil & doa selamat. Aku? Pi tolong apa yg patut le..

Ni tengah sibuk sebelum bukak posa. Raina pun sibuk gak...

Berbuka di surau.... Makan tamar a.k.a. kurma & drinking water. Solat Maghrib... then acara makan le...

VIP tgh mkn... kami pun makan le...

Makanan dah depan mata takkan nak bazirkan.... makan je la...

Jom tengok apa yg dah masuk dalam perut aku.... hehehe...

IMBASAN RAMADHAN 1

Alahai, pejam celik pejam celik dah beberapa hari kita posa ye....

Alhamdulillah, so far... so good. Still can bear the hunger, still can bear the thirst, still can tolerate the lust to go shopping... hehehe...

(Sebenonye sbb wallet dah menipis... tinggal kertas2 bil jer yg tinggal.. Kalau tidak dah selamat aku berfoya-foya di tempat yang bernama shopping complex..ahak..ahak..)

Kalau korang nak tau, hari pertama posa dah terlajak tido sampai tak sempat nak sahur... huhuhu... MCA ape lagi... membebel le... Hakikatnya memang salah si istri nye yang comey ni (Kalau org lain tak puji sapa lg kalau bkn si empunya diri...kan..kan..kan..)

Citer sebenarnye aku terlelap masa set masa nk bangun berbuka. Tu ler sebab impian bersahur jd impian semata-mata. Hajat ati nak buat nasik goreng. Sempat buat dlm mimpi je le ye...

Hari pertama posa.... berbuka d rumah abah & mak ku.... Hikhikhik... Syoknyer... korang jgn jeres ye. Mmg rmh dah dekat ni menyenangkan perjalanan ke sana. Tak sempat enjin nak panas dh sampai ke sana. Best, kan?

Korang nak tau apa menu hari tu.... Cuba le teka.... Memang dibawa khas dari rumahku ke rumah mak & abah dan dimasak khas oleh MCA teristimewa untuk aku... Sesungguhnya aku memang rasa sungguh terharu. Selalunya si istri masak utk cik abang nye tapi aku ni memang bertuah sbb dapat suami yg pandai masak. Alhamdulillah...

MENJELANG RAMADHAN!

Menjelang Ramadhan, org dok sibuk carik tailor buat baju. Ada yg pulun mkn sedap2, mcm x dpt mkn lg masa atau lepas Ramadhan. Tak kurang yg dok buat budget sbb mana ada bonus thn ni sblm raya...(adus.... sedihnyer...) Yg order kuih pun ada (aku ler tu). Tp thn ni aku 200% order kuih drp adikku tercayang. Biskut aiskrim 100 bijik. Hat lain tu 50 bijik je setiap satu. Bkn tamak tp nk bg moral support supaya bisnes dia berkembang smpai ke pelusuk dunia... cewah! kalau dia berjaya, aku gak yg bangga....hehehe... boleh tumpang semangkuk.

Kemarin aku dpt text message drp my friend, Enaliza. Tersentuh gak ati ku bila baca message tu. So aku nak le kongsi isi kandungannya dgn korang. Yelah, menjelang Ramadhan, apa salahnya berkongsi ilmu pengetahuan. Aku dh pun tanya ustazah.... dia kata molek kalau semua org tau... jd memandangkan ustazah dah bagi "green light", aku pun laju je le...

Ehem... today I just want to share this photo. FISH? ONLY FISH? Yelah, apa salahnyer... ikan pon model yg hebat!

Sebenornye saja nk bagitau korang minatku yg terpendam sekian lama... sejak skolah rendah lagik....tak lain tak bkn ambik gambaq tak kira le ada org ke atau takde orang langsung....

Amacam? OK tak? Korang mesti kata OK tau walaupon hakikatnya tak OK.... Jgn keciwakan ati org baik macam wa tau...

Tapi... tgk gambaq ni lama2 rasa lapaq pulak... kalau le dapat mkn kari kepala ikan... best gak!

Gulp! Masalahnye berani ke aku bersuara sbb yg bakal jadik CHEF tu bukan aku tapi MY CHEF ABE jugak! Doakan le aku berjaya ye dlm misi suci ku ini yek... hehehe...

Ayaq hangat Ulu Legong!

The journey from Beris Vineyard to Ulu Legong Hot Spring was soooo challenging! It has nothing to do with the roads.... It's my eldest who threw tantrums almost all the time. Eeeeii... geram nye.... kalah adik2. That's why you won't be able to see him in the pics. Too many complaints...grrrr... Too much gibberish... ouch!!! So childish! Bingit! sakit telinga... sakit hati... sakit jiwa. Nasib ada mak mertua. She's the saviour.... layan je si Khairil yg membebel.....

OK..OK... citer hari ni xde kaitan ttg parenting yek... itu masuk chapter lain... so let me carry on.

- yelah, memang le hot spring... takkan cold spring lak

- kalau dok Kedah tak le jauh pon tp sapa2 dok Johor tu.. bawa2 bersabar ye..

- naik keta blh, naik motor blh, naik gerek (baskat/basikal) pon blh. Nk guna kaki je pon no hal.. tp AWAS! jgn guna kapal terbang ye sbb xde tpt nk landing!

5. Shops?

- ader tp jgn mengada nk carik KFC, MacD atau Pizza Hut lak..

6. Accommodation?

-jgn risau... chalet ada, tapak berkhemah pon ada

7. Public amenities?

-Ada... Ada... Ada...

At first everyone didn't feel like getting wet but the water was very inviting. As usual posing is Raina's middle name! (ala2 super model cilik gitu!)

The truth is it's my second time there. The first time was more exciting! Kalau nk tau baca je my notes in FB. Males nk citer byk kali...

So allow me to be sincere... This advice is from the bottom of my heart...cewah..

(pandai aku menjawab dlm hati. Nak balas kuat2 takut dikatakan istri durhaka. Oh! sungguh ku tak rela)

It's just another boring weekend so the trip was unexpected. When my Cik Abe called & asked us to get ready, I thought it's another trip to Tesco or maybe to Central Square or perhaps Giant? Or to Jaya Jusco?

(hati mula berbunga sbb sopping ni mmg my feveret pastime)

Well, to make this story short... the destination was definitely not the shopping complexes!

(Ala.... tak syok nyer....)

So... all of us (My Cik Abe tercinta, my beloved kids, my mom-in-law, my sis-in law & her young doter (my niece)) went to this place called Beris Lake Vineyard(Ladang Anggur Tasik Beris), Sik, Kedah.

Menarik, kan? Tpt Penternakan ikan talapia merah je tak pegi... sbb lepas tu pegi kolam air panas...

but again that's going to be another...another story... phew!
Well, once we were there, the most important agenda was to make sure we could prove the existence of grapes. The best way was by taking pics....loads of them...

And after walking around without a single grape in hands, we entered the shop once again. This time we made sure the yummy grapes must be ours.

As usual, the big man must be the one who purchased the grapes...

waduh, sempat lg posing nih... hehehe...

OK... OK.... Let me tell you why we went there.

1. It's nearby. No plane or boat required! Save budget LOL...

2. We're so interested to see the grape vineyard (Takkan nk pegi Perancis kot!)

3. To prove that grapes can live healthily & happily in Kedah, Malaysia (Yes! Malaysia Boleh!)

4. For fun... why not?

5. Can eat fresh grapes.... the taste & experience...priceless...

But let me give you some tips here...

1. Must know the direction or you'll end up somewhere else. Padang Besar? Bukit Kayu Hitam? Thailand?

2. Don't expect too much because this place is still new.

3. Don't go during peak season or you'll go home emptyhanded.

AND

4. Don't judge grapes by their colours... green grapes are actually sweeter... nicer....

Our Sandcastle

OUR SANDCASTLE!!!!!

Such a beautiful sandcastle!

(perasan le sikit sbb inilah hasil kerastangan kami anak beranak)

Well, today I'll honour my promise to everyone especially my cik abe that I'll share OUR WORLD to the rest of the world. I know some of the events happened weeks or months ago but who cares! At least those who know us know what we did in our lives...

Just now I changed our profile pic. The sandcastle was made by 5 pairs of hands & 5 pairs of feet! (sbb kdg2 kena pijak2 sikit, lari2 sikit nk p cari bhn hiasan) We were in Port Dickson, at Avillion Admiral Cove to be more specific. My cik abe had a gathering with his old schoolmates so school holiday was the best time to gather everyone. We were there from 25-27 June 2010. We (the kids and the wife of Mr. Aminor) tagged along coz it's definitely a place we would like to be. I didn't have to spend a cent too.
Everything was sponsored by him.

(Cayang abg... muah! muah! muah!)

So if there's a beach nearby, one of the activities that must be carried out was definitely a sandcastle making competition!

See, my cik abe was soooo serious in his project. Our eldest, Khairil, was a great assistant. My other boy, Ijan, (yg nampak kepala jer tu) also helped. They really wanted to win! (wa caya sama lu!)

Ha! Ijan really helped. My sweetheart Raina was waiting for instructions. Their mother? Ha ha ha! Busy taking photos! Hey, I helped too. I just didn't want to miss this moment so I took a break and captured them. That's why my image is always missing in action...hehehe.....

Once it's done & completed, Raina as usual posed for me and for you. She is really good at this. Alah, like mother like daughter lah....
