BELATED BIRTHDAY PARTY

Well, this year it was a quiet birthday celebration for Khairil in June. Can check HERE about it. We gave him presents & had dinner at his fave restaurant. When we asked whether he wanted a party, he flatly refused. OK. No problem. We granted his wishes. Btw, he's already 11. So, let him decide. (Mama ikut jer.... Jimat...;D)

In July, Hifzhan turned 9. But we're too busy. We managed to buy him presents but what he desired was a party! Because of fasting, his birthday party was put off. Since Raina's birthday was in Sept we decided to combine both Hifzhan's & Raina's party after raya. Cut down the cost lol! We wanted to do an open house & their belated birthday party together. Yet, we just couldn't find the best time. We're too busy every weekend in Syawal. No open house this year. However, my lil gal was so persistent. She decided to throw the party on Saturday last weekend no matter what would happen. We gave up. Finally, we managed to squeeze in the party (though I had an extra class till noon). It's just a small party. Only their friends, our family & neighbours were invited. (Kalau tak dijemput jgn mare yer.... adhoc punya party... hehehe..)

Happy Belated...

It took me so long to update these two important events which occurred in June. It's my son's birthday, ya'know! It's a week ago! He got all the birthday presents from all of us. My lil gal gave him a long sleeve tshirt, his brother gave him a red ball (yeah, a BALL!), my hubby bought a white bicycle at the last minute & I... err.. a blue helmet to be worn for safety reason... Yeah, as a mom, i must always think about safety first. What if he falls down... what if he faints while cycling...what if... OK.. ok.. I should stop thinking about the "ifs". Not a nice thought lol!
That evening, we brought him to "Chicken Rice Shop" which happens to be one of his fave restaurants. We had dinner there.

So my dear boy, happy belated birthday! May all your dreams come true! May Allah bless you with good health, wealth & prosperity! Luv u so much... muah! muah! muah! Be a good boy, ya..

There's another celebration besides Krel's birthday. Guess what! It's Father's Day. So I made up my mind to let my kids choose their own gifts for their beloved Abah. Shopping with them... haiya... must be forever coz in the end i was the one who decided what to buy. Yelah, who's paying? Mama ler... sapa lagi... hehehe...

It's a pleasant surprise for him as last year I didn't really initiate anything on Father's Day. But it's different this year. I just want to express my gratitude for everything he has done especially the surprise on my birthday this year. Besides, i want to instill the value of love & appreciation. i hope my kids will carry out the routine of celebrating all the important events every year.

MY MERRY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

Guess what? It never happened before but I hope it won't be the last!

Remember when I mentioned earlier my birthday was spent without My Cik Abe (MCA) HERE ? I was thinking of spending some time with my Miss Singer that evening but after 6p.m. he called, wished me "Happy Birthday" & then told me to be ready for a dinner treat at Le Boss Restaurant. Hmmm.... such a splendid idea, knowing that we haven't been there for ages.

A few minutes later... jeng... jeng... jeng...

A knock on the door.... Someone was outside, calling for the tenant... Me lah... Sapa lagik... hehehe.. A Chinese lady smiled and said "Hari ni harijadi u kan?" I simply nodded..

"For you.. Happy Birthday!"

Unexpected sunny delivery reached my gloomy home.. All of a sudden.... it brightened my day!It made sense... The silence had irritated me since morning... but hey! MCA was forgiven for taking soooo long to celebrate my 39th birthday! Did I mention 39? Alah, age is just a number...

I love u Abang... It's the thought that counts... but showering me with presents is always all right.... love 'em all! ahak! ahak!

So, let me present you my very first bouquet of flowers from my dear hubby, MCA... knowing him so well.... flowers won't be listed in his choices of presents at all.. but you know la, men are really full of surprises... & yup! I was pleasantly surprised..Luckily, they aren't real flowers coz I prefer to keep them long.. xder layu2... legaaa...

Then, in the evening we had dinner with the kids...who prefered their fave restaurants but had to bear with their father's choice coz it's not their birthdays... hahaha!!!

Today is my birthday!

Happy? Well, nothing much to celebrate coz it's a reminder that I'm a year older..(sigh!) but a little bit in a festive mood as I'm a year wiser..hmmm.. really? A cake again this year? No idea. Even MCA hasn't mentioned anything.... Not even a birthday wish from him! Nothing verbally. No SMS. No call. Hmmm... a tactic trying to act normal but the truth is he's hiding the surprise from me or who knows... he's forgotten coz he's too busy entertaining his clients but me? I don't give a damn! I like my quiet time today.... writing, blogging & maybe sewing tonight? Such a brilliant idea! I'm really in need of a new wallet! My present wallet sucks. The zipper is beyond repair.. ouch!!

THE TWO BIG DAYS!

HAPPY BELATED MOTHER'S DAY!!

This year, the celebrations for these two BIG days were soooo boring. I didn't feel like celebrating them at all! Everybody seemed to forget the importance of the days! I shouldn't complain. I did get a birthday cake! All thanks to my dearest boy, Ijan who kept on pestering his Abah to buy me the cake. He even bought me a cute green brooch this year. I was really touched. Luckily, he was extremely eager & he made the day so much more beautiful.

Even Mother's Day was like any normal day. Nothing! I had to remind my kids. But again, why should I complain. My little princess Raina did give me a handmade Mother's Day card a few days earlier. Maybe she gave it too early. That's why I didn't celebrate it this year. Arghhh!

Still, I think I've to say this aloud...."HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MOTHERS IN THIS WORLD!". Is that all? Yeah, that's all. No further complaint! Fullstop.

APRIL

Here I am again.....after a long silence. It's already April and it means the day is approaching nearer and nearer.

April. The month I love but loathe. Lots of things to do yet so little time to spend. My workloads...my resposibility.....my unfinished business....gosh, if only I am a superwoman! Who am I to complain. I, whose faults are very much mine, shouldn't grumble. I have no right to blame other people. The tasks are mine.....mine.....seclusively mine....(sigh)....

1st April=April Fool. So what? I don't care! I am never interested to be involved in any of the pranks. I didn't even realise it was April Fool! The day was so normal. So boring. Nothing happened. My world went on so well. Nobody cared and they didn't notice it at all. Then, it hit me a few days later that I was safe! I simply forgot. So much things to do and one of them was not about making fun or playing pranks.

My beloved April.....I was born in April! 20th April to be more exact. Everytime I look at the mirror, I see myself changing slowly, transforming me to be ME! The existence of me is like a small dot in the universe. I know my journey of life has encountered various faces of life. I've drunk the potion of life. It can either kill me or heal me. I am alive for all those memories- both sweet or sorrowful. "To be or not to be, that is the question," the saying lingers and I am breathing the essence of life till the day I am no more a living human being.

Here I am, still pondering to embrace April with open arms, welcoming April as an old flame I love or just accept April as coldly as a foe I should despise. After so long, I make up my mind.....friend or foe.......treat them equally. I shouldn't be biased......(sigh)
