This year, I was so fortunate. It's supposed to be my in-laws' turn but they decided to carry out an open house on the third of Syawal. So my hubby informed that we'd be leaving to PB on the 3rd day ler. We're in SP on the 1st raya AGAIN! Guess what? All my siblings were in SP at the same time. A BIG WOW!

Before that, my house needed some facelift lar. Together, we made sure the lights lit up the last night of Ramadan.

BELATED BIRTHDAY PARTY

Well, this year it was a quiet birthday celebration for Khairil in June. Can check HERE about it. We gave him presents & had dinner at his fave restaurant. When we asked whether he wanted a party, he flatly refused. OK. No problem. We granted his wishes. Btw, he's already 11. So, let him decide. (Mama ikut jer.... Jimat...;D)

In July, Hifzhan turned 9. But we're too busy. We managed to buy him presents but what he desired was a party! Because of fasting, his birthday party was put off. Since Raina's birthday was in Sept we decided to combine both Hifzhan's & Raina's party after raya. Cut down the cost lol! We wanted to do an open house & their belated birthday party together. Yet, we just couldn't find the best time. We're too busy every weekend in Syawal. No open house this year. However, my lil gal was so persistent. She decided to throw the party on Saturday last weekend no matter what would happen. We gave up. Finally, we managed to squeeze in the party (though I had an extra class till noon). It's just a small party. Only their friends, our family & neighbours were invited. (Kalau tak dijemput jgn mare yer.... adhoc punya party... hehehe..)

These are the pix. Please excuse the quality of the pix. I used only my Sony Ericsson hp. My digital camera? It's there but I needed to snap fast. Well, looking at all the photos now, I realise I should use my Canon. Another year lah! Right now, redho jer la... hikss!!

Hi uols,

How's your raya celebration this year? Today, my son had an appointment at Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim. So I took a day off to accompany him. But today's entry has nothing to do with his visit, wokey! It's all about raya. I'm sure you have snapped many photos on Hari Raya. Just imagine... I, at first, wasn't in mood of celebrating the day... But thanks to my youngers sisters Yun & Kak Cik (her name is Nooraini but we call her Kak Chik since she's a baby), I was transformed in a split second. Knp? X cayer? Uols tgk ler sendiri.... hehehehe...

On the 1st of Syawal, there're only my family (MCA, my kids & me), Mak, Abah, my younger brothers (Kimi & Fadzli), my younger sis (Kak Chik & Yun) & her son aka my nephew (Ayip). I came quite late (nearly at noon). Sorry yer... Kemaskini rumah sendiri dolu...;)So are u ready to see our lovely... handsome faces?

Let me introduce my happy family..... The Orange Family!MCA wasn't so keen of bright orange so he opted for peach... OK ler tu... suku sakat oren gak.. & my lil gal kebaya... grey & orange.. cotton... her fave kebaya, i think.

Maybe because of my weight loss (another 4.7kg) in Ramadhan or the eyeliner?

Happy Belated...

It took me so long to update these two important events which occurred in June. It's my son's birthday, ya'know! It's a week ago! He got all the birthday presents from all of us. My lil gal gave him a long sleeve tshirt, his brother gave him a red ball (yeah, a BALL!), my hubby bought a white bicycle at the last minute & I... err.. a blue helmet to be worn for safety reason... Yeah, as a mom, i must always think about safety first. What if he falls down... what if he faints while cycling...what if... OK.. ok.. I should stop thinking about the "ifs". Not a nice thought lol!
That evening, we brought him to "Chicken Rice Shop" which happens to be one of his fave restaurants. We had dinner there.

So my dear boy, happy belated birthday! May all your dreams come true! May Allah bless you with good health, wealth & prosperity! Luv u so much... muah! muah! muah! Be a good boy, ya..

There's another celebration besides Krel's birthday. Guess what! It's Father's Day. So I made up my mind to let my kids choose their own gifts for their beloved Abah. Shopping with them... haiya... must be forever coz in the end i was the one who decided what to buy. Yelah, who's paying? Mama ler... sapa lagi... hehehe...

It's a pleasant surprise for him as last year I didn't really initiate anything on Father's Day. But it's different this year. I just want to express my gratitude for everything he has done especially the surprise on my birthday this year. Besides, i want to instill the value of love & appreciation. i hope my kids will carry out the routine of celebrating all the important events every year.

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY ya.... What did I do before Teacher's Day? Like last year, I got a special request from my lil gal. Last year she gave photo frames & cards. This year, she demanded (yeah, couldn't say "NO" or change what her heart desired) keychains. So I made these for ALL her teachers. Really hope they love the keychains. Bukan aper... Buat sendiri dgn penuh susah payah... so if they like them... hati pon manyak senang.... hehehe..For more story about the keychains & teacher's day cards, click HERE.

Well, my boys are different. They didn't request any handmade items. Ijan just wanted to give to Cikgu Anita only. So we went to Tesco & bought a pair of green (his fave colour) brooches for her. Kalau ler anak muridku pon mcm Ijan & Raina... hehehehe... My eldest? He didn't want anything at first but later, I learnt that he bought cards from Koperasi sekolah. What a relief. I'm over the moon as my children are learning the art of appreciating other people especially their teachers who have been teaching & guiding them in school. My own students? Didn't I tell them that the best present they could give me was their best exam results? Yup! If they can practise whatever I've taught & pass with flying colours, I'll be the happiest teacher on earth.

What did I do on Teacher's Day? Celebrated the day lol! All teachers were in purple & this year, believe it or not, we let students handle the day. For the very first time, I felt so relaxed. I didn't have to handle anything. I just enjoyed the day! Perarakan guru2, pertunjukan kompang, silat, majlis rasmi & semuanyalah.... thumb up to ALL! Bravo! Below is my photo with kak Khairida... ni jer a picture of me on Teacher's Day in my hp. Yg lain dlm kamera org lain... bakal di'tag' dlm FB... ngee....I did change to my sports attire as I took part in netball which was definitely not the game I favour. I was hopeless & am still hopeless in it. But being so sporting (masuk bakul angkat sendiri), I just followed whatever they told me to do, ran around like crazy & got so damned exhausted! Though the game lasted only in a few minutes, I was panting & sweating as if I played for hours.... hikss! At least, I got a ball & threw it to my team... once. Jadik ler tu... My team lost 4-6 but we're all in high spirit! Main pon suka2 jer...

Then shows by students, prize giving ceremony & lunch at our hostel's dining hall. The food? Another thumb up! The rain didn't damp the mood to go home. I thought I could go home earlier than usual but after a few things to do... I ended up leaving school almost at 3. Ok ler tu. Kira awal jugak..

Hehehehe.... sekali sekala perasan apa salahnyer... Tp aku tau betapa kurengnyer aku dlm ilmu jadik MAMA ni walaupon hakikatnya aku dah ada 3 org anak. Kadang2 rasa mcm aku ni tak sehebat Mak aku yg boleh jaga 11 org anak dgn jayanya. Aku? 3 org pon tak terjaga. Pening kepala bila kena dgr pergaduhan yg tercipta dek punca remeh temeh. Aduss.... Tp sapa ler aku nak mengadu sbb aku tau ada org yg lebih pening drp aku.... Pendek citer... aku pasrah. Redhoo... Aku terima dgn hati yg tulus mulus....

So dear all mothers... whoever & wherever you are....

Tomei, kan imej ni? Bayangkan dr sekecik tu kaki anak2 kita hinggalah sebesar atau mungkin lebih besar drp kita.... Wah! Cam tak caya. Rasa mcm nak putar balik masa. Saat anak2 jadi baby....owhhh... so sweet... Hajat nak tambah satu lagik baby tu ada tp boleh ker? Tak daya ku nk jwb. Allah jer yg tau. Kalau ada rezeki, adalah. Kalau dah tersurat 3 jer, aku terima... Alhamdulillah, sekurang2nyer... ada lelaki, ada pompuan. Aku sepatutnya bersyukur sbb nun di luar sana, ada yg blm ada rezeki langsung. Berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu yg memikul. So aku tak leh komplen2. Kena pikir positif2 jer.... Walau kdg2 airmata tumpah sekali sekala waktu jd Mama, tp itu kan dugaan. Aku tak boleh putus asa. Yakin boleh! Cewah!

Apa yer azam pada Hari Ibu tahun ni? Rasanya aku nak jadik...

Oh lupa nak citer, tahun ni, sambutan hari Ibu disambut di Restoren Jeti 3 Beradik. Soeeii... takder snap photo sbb sibuk melantak. Lapar sgt... hehehe.... MCA belanja sakan... kami 5 beranak plus Mak, Abah & adik bongsuku Kimi. Aku sempat bagi hadiah hari Ibu kat Mak. Hrp2 Mak suka terima perfum & purse tu. Tp tgk jer Mak dah tau Mak suka... Siap pakai perfum tu terus..... ini sudah bagus...

p.s. Ada byk citer terutama kisah percutian hujung minggu di Hatyai tp nanti ler yer sbb nk rehat... Kena tidor... esk keje... hehehehe....

Happy? Well, nothing much to celebrate coz it's a reminder that I'm a year older..(sigh!) but a little bit in a festive mood as I'm a year wiser..hmmm.. really? A cake again this year? No idea. Even MCA hasn't mentioned anything.... Not even a birthday wish from him! Nothing verbally. No SMS. No call. Hmmm... a tactic trying to act normal but the truth is he's hiding the surprise from me or who knows... he's forgotten coz he's too busy entertaining his clients but me? I don't give a damn! I like my quiet time today.... writing, blogging & maybe sewing tonight? Such a brilliant idea! I'm really in need of a new wallet! My present wallet sucks. The zipper is beyond repair.. ouch!!

SALAM UNTUK SEMUA

Mmg aku akui bab bg ucapan sempena hari2 spesel ni aku cukop lemah. Musti lambat punya tp biar lambat asal ada..... Yg paling penting ucapan tu dtg tulus mulus drp hati yg ikhlas. Pd 15Feb 2011 (ikut kalendar Masihi), umat Islam meraikan keputeraan Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. Aku ni dulu selalu perasan bila teringat tarikh Rasulullah dilahirkn....sbb setiap kali aku dgr lagu nasyid, akn terkeluar tarikh 20 April tahun Gajah. Almaklumle.... aku pon lahir pd 20 April... cuma tahun jer yg lain..... hikss... Dan aku jg dpt tahu ada sorang lg pemimpin fofular yg lahir pada 20 April... Cuba korang teka sapa ler pemimpin terkenal tu. Semua org kat bumi ni kenal pemimpin barat tu.... Kalau nk tau, korang baca dulu sajak spesel untuk Rasulullah. Bukan aku cipta tau tp aku ambik dr SINI utk tatapn kita semua......

Errr.... kebetulan sehari sblm sambutan Maulidur Rasul, ada org2 yg sambut Valentine's Day. Aku? Dh insaf.... hehehe.... tak perasan pon sbb hari kasih sayang aku kat org2 yg aku sayang ni mmg aku sambut hari2.... bila aku rasa nk luahkn rasa kasih @ sayang, aku tak kira hari apa... Ahad ke, Senin ke, Selasa ke, Rabu ke, Kamis ke, Jumaat ke ataupon hari Sabtu, aku belasah jer... tak payah tunggu 14 Feb. Tp bab memperingati hari ulangtahun org tersayang mmg masuk dlm senarai..... HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Well, I do hope it's still not too late to wish all my Chinese friends "HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR". It was celebrated on 3rd February & luckily, my boss granted us a 10 day break. Of course, we had to replace a few days but it's OK. I really needed a break as January was quite hideous. A lot of tears were shed but no worry..... I'm OK now... Life isn't always beautiful. Yet, I'm very fortunate as I'm always surrounded by beautiful people who inspire me to be ME! I'm blessed to have My Cik Abe (MCA), my wonderful hubby, who loves me without terms & conditions. Love you soooo much... muah.. muah.. muah...

I'm a lucky woman, wife & mother..... Even though my little angels can be very painful sometimes, I feel my life is complete with them around. My beloved king, MCA, my 2 handsome princes & my lovely princess are my angels when I'm down... They heal my pain. They nurse my wound. They are my heroes. Those people who mar my days are nothing as long as my angels are here with me. Love u all, honey!!

Salam Aidil Adha drp kami seisi keluarga.

Tahun ni citer raya Qurban mmg sedih cikit sbb ntah knp aku tak rasa nk beraya. Yelah, mmg le raya ni raya utk yg menunaikan haji dan buat korban.. tp selalunya aku dpt rasa mood raya tu. Kali ni bangun je tidur, aku rasa biasa2 jer. Nothing. Mmg le a ku keja kemarin tp selalunya aku menyibuk jg beli kuih raya ke.. beli lemang ke... Jgn tak pecaya... kuih dlm balang cuma sisa2 kuih raya hr tu... hehehe... Lemang? Ketupat? Nasi himpit? Open house? In your dream le this year.

Aktiviti pagi raya..... kemas rumah, sapu sampah, mop lantai.... Lps tu melepak d bilik, jahit 'baju' raya utk hp kesayanganku (nk jahit baju sendiri tak brp reti...hehehe..). Nk tgk hasil kerastanganku? Sila le ke SINI. Anak2 & MCA? Waduh, yg lelaki... berbaju melayu, yg pompuan sorang tu berjubah raya. Aku? Jgn mare. Sgt anggun gitu. Berkain batik & berkemeja pijama tido. Mmg ayu...

Menu pagi raya... bihun goreng & Maggi sbb nasi tak masak hr ni... (mmg bkn ibu mithali...)

Aktiviti tghari ke ptg raya.... sepatutnya p Alor Setar. Ingatkn nak menziarah mak Lang. Kesian mak lang... rmh dia kena jgk tempias banjir hr tu... Nk ke rmh ayahanda & bonda tersayang tidak mungkin dlm agenda sbb mak & abah di rmh my sis, kak Na di Kajang. Kena le berkorban sbb mak pi sana nk berubat. Lg pun cuti raya Haji ni kejap je. Di Kedah ni sambutan raya Aidil Adha ni kira besar2an gak kecuali thn ni d rmh mak & abah... sbb takde org. Tp agenda ke Alor Setar tak kesampaian jua sbb kami ke rmh maksu. Nk jln jauh (walaupun ada keta)...tak larat. Pegi yg dekat je lah. Lg pun hujan. Kang banjir..stranded.... baru padan muka kami..(mmg dh padan pon muka ni)

Aktiviti di rmh maksu... mcm biasa.. acara mkn. Smpai jer dah terasa mood raya. Kuih raya dlm balang... tetamu2 Julia(sepupuku) penuh ruang tamu.... bihun sup terhidang.... air grape kaler purple.... baru le aku rasa raya. Tima kacih maksu. You are my saviour. Lps melantak kami semua beraya di.....TESCO... hehehe....

Tahu tak betapa ramai manusia yg menziarah & beraya di Tesco hari ni..... Siap berbaju melayu & berbaju kurung... kecuali aku yg berblaus hitam, berseluar biru gelap, bertudung hitam...(mcm berkabung le pulak). Melantak lg di sana & shopping cikit. Jgn risau... kami pegi Tesco tp tak masuk pon Tesco... Buang duit di Popular jer...

Aktiviti malam.... blogging le... apa lg. Anak2 dh tido. MCA menonton TV (tgk program di Astro Arena...) & berakhir dgn TV tgk dia pulak...hihihi...

Lps ujan mmg sejuk bangat nih... Jd sebelum aku merehatkan diriku... aku sekali lg nak ambik kesempatan ni mengucapkan SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL ADHA!
